In this issue of our newsletter we discuss Wise installer
and Visual Installer. We have also included a tip for CD-Menu
Creator 2014 that explains how to use the new Picture Gallery
to show video clips.
All software from SamLogic are adapted for Windows 8.1,
and last in the newsletter you will find more information
about this.

CAN VISUAL INSTALLER REPLACE WISE
INSTALLER?
Wise Installation Studio, Wise Installation Express
and Wise Package Studio were three excellent installation
tools created by the American company Wise Solutions,
Inc and later maintained by Symantec Corporation,
but these products have now been discontinued and are not
supported anymore. So it is not possible to buy these setup
tools today, and there are no new updates or service packs
available anymore either.
If you still use Wise for your installation projects you
may encounter some compatibility problems when new versions
of Windows are released. This article on our website explains

HOW TO USE THE PICTURE GALLERY
TO SHOW VIDEOS
In a
previous issue or our newsletter we explained how to
use the picture gallery in CD-Menu Creator 2014 to show
pictures that are distributed on a CD/DVD or USB flash drive.
But you can also use the Picture Gallery to show video clips.
