We
sometimes gets the question:
Can AutoRun for USB sticks work in a computer without
installation of USB AutoRun Creator or the driver program that
follows USB AutoRun Creator?
The answer to this question is: no, it is not possible due to
security reasons. The first time a driver program or the USB
AutoRun Creator editor must be installed in the system.
By installing either of these, the user also is aware of that
he/she enables AutoRun for USB sticks (from specific sources).
Microsoft has disabled AutoRun for USB sticks completely in
Windows 7, 8 and 10, and in Windows XP and Windows Vista the
AutoRun is disabled if some specific security updates are
