When you insert a title in a newsletter with this function in
MultiMailer, the title is stored in a special way in the
newsletter; with a special coding. In this way, e-mail programs,
browsers, search engines, screen reader programs etc. know that
it is a title instead of plain text.
If
you are familiar with HTML
When you use the Insert Title dialog box to insert a main
title or a section title into a newsletter, the <H1> and
<H2> HTML header tags are used in the HTML script code to
inform that it is a main heading or a section heading. <H1>
is used for main headings (main titles) and <H2> for
section headings (section titles).
These H tags are used by e-mail programs, browsers, search
engines, screen reader programs, etc. to identify titles in HTML
texts. <H1> is seen as the most important title and
<H2> as the second most important. More information can be
found on
this web page at W3Schools.
